Is It A Good Idea To Invest In Corelle?

No matter the fact, whether you are planning to use your Corelle as fancy dinnerware or not — owning one is always a great idea. As an owner of multiple dinner sets from Corelle, I have found that the benefits and advantages of the company outweigh cons if at all any — which to be honest I feel are next to none. Initiated into the world of Corelle from my household, I have the fondest memories of my grandma’s baking and the blue coloured flowers of the Corningware that still remind me of that familiar taste of food that is made with love.

On the ergonomic front of things, some of the biggest advantages that I have found with Corelle is the fact, that all the Corelle dinnerware ranges are microwave safe. So many times I have gone back home with almost no desire to even move a finger to heat my food — Corelle thankfully aids my laziness in this depart because instead of having to switch on the gas and move around pots and pans I just serve the food on my plate and pop it in, into the microwave, in fact, its so easy that my little ones do it for themselves as well on days when I might be away from home.

If you think that the handling of dishes by children sounds like a disaster waiting to happen then you’re probably right — but Corelle is made from tempered glass and in our house when the kids decided to take upon themselves the dishwasher duties — believe me when I tell you this I genuinely felt that it was a disaster in the making and there would be a lot of screams, gasps and tears (mostly mine) — to my surprise, my Corelle dishes have survived the tsunami of my kids. Yes, there were incidents when accidental slips happened with wet dishes — but somehow the Vitrelle persisted. I’m not saying that the dishes are shatterproof — but they do manage to survive a lot of accidents and incidents that other glassware wouldn’t have been able to.

My first very own Corelle serve ware set was gifted to me by my mother when I got married almost a decade ago, and to this day I continue to serve dinner at night to my family on the same serve ware. Who knew that the designs would be so resistant to fading — the colours have managed to remain intact for a very long time, and they are still going strong — so for those wondering about whether or not Corelle is an investment worth making, the proof my dear is in the pudding, that you can also serve and eat on the dishes.

Another really important concern that has been addressed by Corelle is the fact that their dishes are safe to use in the dishwasher and also the oven, now that is something that I do not take lightly at all. Being able to ease the dishes in the dishwasher is a gift – who else would like to be washing a giant load of dishes by hand post a family get — together and once the kids took charge of the dishes, life has been even more blissful than ever.

Last but not the least I have managed to save so much space just because you can stack up Corelle dishes and not be worried about them chipping ever. Gone are the china days when you were worried the dishes will clang together and you will end up chipping all that gorgeous and expensive chinaware — with Corelle that is the last of your concerns. One downside is of course with all the extra space I’ve ended up buying a lot more things like spice boxes and other dinner sets to be precise.

So as you can see investing in a Corelle has so many benefits — so much so that you can call me a staunch loyalist now — after having so many Corelle dishes at home over the years I can vouch for them through thick and thin. From having a special set for dinner parties to everyday use — your Corelle serve-ware is ready for all things and be your steadfast companion that will enhance and be a part of all your culinary experiences.
